When we hear the word 'maturity', we might associate it with being fully developed or being able to make firm decisions. However, these ideas only scratch the surface of what true maturity entails. So, WHAT IS MATURITY??

Being Mature doesn't mean you have to be serious and rigid all the time, projecting an unapproachable demeanor filled with anger and ego. Maturity starts with the ability to adjust your way of thinking so that you can make wise decisions, take responsibility, and feel a sense of belonging.

Also it is an outdated notion that maturity comes with age, age doesn't really MATTER

So lets begin with the idea. According to some studies, a human brain generates 70,000 thoughts everyday, but how many of them do we execute? Merely 0.001% or less. How does it relate to our topic?

Here we go. Maturity is the Ability to chose among the thousands of thoughts that cross our minds every day, the right thought. The Right thought when acted upon, benefits everyone involved and doesn't cause harm to anyone in any way. This idea can be better understood with a simple example:-

Lets take an example of a man who got laid off from his latest job recently. There must be more thoughts running in his mind than programs in a high-powered computer, some thoughts like ' I didn't deserve this, the boss was biased to my peers' or ' Do I deserve to be fired?, I was working for them for more than x years'. These thoughts can then create some thoughts of constructive nature like ' It wouldn't be wise to wait for an opportunity, I must look for alternative income sources' or of negative nature like ' I am not worthy of a job, I have no marketable skills and I will not work anymore.' There can be indefinite thoughts of either nature.

It's up to him to determine which thought would be most appropriate given the circumstances. We experience these situations daily on a micro level, but often without conscious awareness.

The aforementioned example is too simple to understand the gravity of this idea though it lays the foundation of it.
